Fall of A Nation

The Fall of a Nation reimagines the mythology of the American South by confronting the legacy of white supremacy through the symbolic destruction of the plantation. Using miniatures and constructed scenes, the project explores the emotional tension between joy, unsettlement, and liberation as these icons of racial violence collapse. Centering Black expression and freedom, the work reframes a painful history through vulnerability, reclamation, and the transformative power of burning the past down.
